The Wall I Refused to Accept
I was frustrated. Really frustrated. Years into practicing yoga, I kept hitting the same wall with my own progress and later, when teaching, watching my students struggle with identical barriers.
Traditional approaches were failing us. You'd gain flexibility but feel unstable, or build strength while losing range of motion. It was always this frustrating trade-off.
My breaking point came during a practice session at home. Out of pure frustration, I started experimenting with combining movements differently - strengthening and stretching simultaneously instead of treating them as separate practices.
The difference was immediate and obvious. My body responded in ways it never had before.
